Appleberry Atelier is a luxury stationery design house set in the garden of Ireland, County Wicklow. Our stationery business was officially started in 2010. With art director Ailbhe’s initial foundations in fine art illustration and design, Appleberry has grown to include wedding, home and event stationery, fine art painting commissions, corporate commissions and more recently heirloom personalised gifts. Our favourite project is creating a bespoke crest by combining the coat of arms of two households for a new completely unique logo. From here we can brand an event from start to finish ensuring a cohesive look throughout.

We treat each invitation and commission as a work of art, striving to improve our craft with a fine art twist on every piece of work. Every illustration is hand drawn or painted and scanned in, then printed on high quality paper, no apps or filters allowed!

We have worked with countless happy couples and event planners around the world. We are well versed in the proper etiquette of weddings and our services extend from initial moodboards to a white glove assembly and postage service. We understand the stress that goes into planning luxury events.

Ailbhe combines her respect for fine art with a love for layout and design to create one of a kind pieces for her clients. Anything from 19th century etchings to vintage fairy tale illustrations can be the source of inspiration and delight. She works in a variety of media from ink, watercolours or oil paints.

After graduating from NCAD with a degree in Graphic design and specialising in illustration she honed her design skills working for a busy publishing house doing design but her passion for fine art and illustration took her freelance. Her illustrations have since been commissioned by leading stationery companies in the USA as well as the Irish and Tanzanian Passport design.
