Real Wedding: Winter Wedding in Trudder Lodge – Niamh & Anthony

When we first met with Niamh we loved hearing everything about her vision for her gold sparkly wedding!

She was having a black-tie Christmas wedding in her beautiful home, Trudder Lodge with classic gold and navy theme.

What better way for Niamh to introduce her vision for the big day to her guests then by starting with her wedding invitations. She went for a no-fuss, classic style invitation design featuring gold foil and navy on our double-thick paper. The cornered edges then finished them off beautifully.

All of the details that they put together for their idyllic wedding day really paid off, it’s such a beautiful wedding and we can’t wait to share it with you.

How did Niamh and Tony meet;

“We went on a date years ago but that was a disaster, we then met again 6 years ago on the night of my birthday through friends. I gave him another chance and we’ve been together ever since.”

What was Niamh’s Favourite part of the day;

” Seeing Tony for the first time and getting the photos before the church. We were so comfortable with Dave, I really enjoyed the couples portraits. It gave us time to ourselves to take it all in.”

All the girls in the Appleberry Atelier office, love the ‘First Look’ pictures, such a lovely idea, and a great way to ensure some alone time!

What words of wisdom does Niamh have to pass on to other brides;

” Make sure to take time for yourselves.”

How did Niamh decide on her wedding theme;

“It was Christmas time so I wanted wild and sparkly. We had navy tables with greenery, flowers and lots of candles running up them, gold icicles hanging from the ceiling and ivy draped around poles and leading up into the ceiling with fairy lights.”

What was it like being an Appleberry bride;

” I loved Appleberry before I was engaged. Just loved the styles, everything looked so pretty. I wanted a custom invite and knew the Appleberry team would do the perfect job. And they did!!!”
