Venue Illustration: Hand Drawn Venue Wedding Invitations
When planning your wedding, one of the biggest decisions that you have to make is your reception venue. Your choice of reception sets the tone for your big day – from laid back teepees to elaborate castles, there really are so many options.
Once you have chosen your venue, it can be a lovely idea to incorporate it into your wedding invitations. At Appleberry, we have created some beautiful invitations featuring hand-illustrated sketches of couple’s wedding venues by artist Ailbhe Cronin.
Above, is a stunning illustration of Tankardstown House which has been letterpressed in a taupe ink onto a luxury bamboo paper to create a truly unique venue wedding invitation.
You can also choose to combine one of our signature designs with an illustration of your wedding venue. These can then be customised to be in the colour of your choice to suit the theme of your wedding.
This venue invitation depicting Castle Leslie was chosen by ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star Vincent Simone and his wife Susan Duddy. They combined our floral design in soft pink with a hand-drawn illustration of Castle Leslie.
This pocket fold venue invitation combines an illustration of Bellingham Castle with our stunning bouquet design. The flowers have been customised to be in a beautiful colour combination of soft oranges and greens. The pocket fold, envelope liner and belly band with custom monogram add the perfect finishing touch to this suite.
Sarah and Stephen opted to combine an illustration of their wedding venue, Tankardstown House with our Chinoiserie design for their wedding invitations. They chose a palette of navy, blue, green and grey to compliment their bridesmaid dresses and the groom’s suit.
