Real Wedding: Big Day in Bantry Bay - Cindy & Ronan

Today we bring you Cindy and Ronan’s breath-taking Bantry Bay wedding. Captured beautifully by Magda Lukas in the grounds of Bantry House, with an intimate church ceremony and a teepee reception in Ronan’s own back garden, we were delighted to be a part of helping Ronan and Cindy create their special day. Initially planning for a New Year’s Eve wedding, the couple decided to pull their nuptials forward due to Ronan’s mother becoming seriously ill with cancer but sadly however she passed away two weeks before. At his mother’s wishes, Ronan and Cindy continued with their planning and celebrated their big-day in her honour, with plenty of style and laughter.

Pearl & Godiva created a stunning backdrop for the bride and groom’s special day; teepees and marquees were filled with spectacular floral arrangements, wooden picnic tables, animal hides and rustic touches. Here at Appleberry Atelier, we continued this warm cosy feel throughout the couple’s bespoke stationery with a burnt orange font featuring understated floral graphics and a personalised monogram for the newlyweds. Custom cocktails for the guests were signposted in quirky fonts and menus were screen printed on individual napkins for each place-setting, complementing the rustic garden party setting. With so many incredible details to take in, it’s hard to believe the entire event was organised within 5 weeks!
