Order Process

When it comes to your wedding stationery, we know that this is such an exciting aspect of the planning process. There are a lot of options to consider when creating your wedding stationery suite, and our team will guide you and assist you every step of the way.

Step 1/ Enquiry

Review the design options in our Semi Custom range, all of these designs are open to customisation. Send in your enquiry by the link below. Once your enquiry is received, we will send you a custom proposal within 2 working days. We can also arrange for a phone or Video consultation to run through any questions you may have about tweaking your chosen design.

Step 2/ Placing Your Order

Once you are ready to place your order, you simply complete your proposal and sign your contract. A retainer of 50% is due to secure your space for semi custom stationery. Once your order has been received, we will contact you to confirm your wording details. Your client relationship manager will also outline your estimated production timeline.

Step 3/ Personalisation

As soon as your order is confirmed you will receive our wording and design questionnaire. In this questionnaire, we will ask you to confirm any choices from our design guide and to confirm your wording for your stationery. Once submitted your order is passed to your designer to create your first digital proof. Your first proof is sent to you within 5 working days of receiving your completed questionnaire. At this stage you will also receive your estimated order timeline.

Step 4/ Proofing

Your first proof will be tailored to suit your questionnaire feedback. This  includes fonts, patterns, colours, venue illustration to name a few. You will then work with your designer to finalise your stationery design for printing. Up to 4 rounds of revisions are included for semi custom invitation suites. On average we find couples need 3-4 weeks for proofing. Changes to your proof are carried out within 2-3 working days of receipt. Please note, that revisions do not include a complete redesign and are intended for tweaks to your chosen design which may be required before printing, such as spelling, wording adjustments.

Step 5/ Printing

Once you are 100% happy with your stationery suite, you will sign your final print release and we will require your final payment.  Once your approval and payment have been received your stationery will be sent to print. Our standard turnaround time for production is 10-15 working days, depending on the order requirements.

Step 6/ Shipping

Upon receiving the invitations from the printer, we meticulously quality-check each piece before carefully packing and sending them your way.

Stationery orders are sent  via courier and need to be signed for on delivery. When your order is on the way you will receive your tracking information. Please allow 1-2 working days for courier delivery within Ireland, 2-4 working days for UK and USA.

Simply submit our enquiry form and we’ll promptly confirm the availability of your desired date. Our client relationship manager will extend a personal touch, connecting with you to delve into the finer details of your special day and explore your initial stationery needs.

Following your consultation, you will receive a proposal tailored to your requirements.

Step 2/ Placing Your Order

Once you are ready to move forward, we will send you a contract and you can get ready for a seamless experience. A retainer of 50% is due to secure your space for custom stationery. We will then delve deeper into capturing all the inspiration and intricate details needed to bring your dream invitations to life. Your client relationship manager will also outline your estimated production timeline. Let the journey to your custom invitations begin!

Step 3/ Concepts

Ailbhe will carry out in-depth research and come up with inspiration for your theme. From here she starts to draft concepts and sketches, often coming up with many ideas that she whittles down to show you. Ailbhe will then send you ideas to view the design and send feedback. This is one of the most exciting phases of the process, since you get to see your invitations come to life through highly realistic mockups. Throughout the finer proofing stage, Ailbhe will collaborate with you using our online proofing system to refine the choices for your ideal invitation suite. On average we find couples need 12 weeks for proofing of bespoke stationery from start to finish.

Step 4/ Original Artwork and Finalising Your Vision

With your vision fully in frame, Ailbhe embarks on the process of giving life to your design. As a skilled fine art illustrator and painter, this is where Ailbhe excels, infusing her distinctive detailed style into each original piece crafted exclusively for our clients. As the suite is finalised , this crucial proofing phase ensures that there are no spelling, grammar, date/time errors, etc., providing a thorough review before you give the green light for printing.

InvestmentHow much does it cost?

For our house venue collection, a cost can be calculated by running through the online order process adding the pieces that you need.

For Custom projects, due to their unique nature, a custom quote will be prepared for you after completing our questionnaire. We’re happy to work with you and put together a proposal that fits within your budget.

The average Appleberry couple invest between €2500 – €8000 in their complete bespoke stationery, ranging from save-the-date and invitation suites, to on-the-day stationery and everything inbetween.
