Semi CustomWhat to expect?
Step 1/ Placing Your Order
Choose your venue or commission a new illustration, select your design and add the pieces/embellishments you require to your cart.
Step 2/ Deposit
The next step is to pay your deposit, which is €100. Once your order has been received, we will contact you to confirm your order details. All deposits are non – refundable.
Step 3/ Wording
As soon as your payment or deposit is received you will receive the wording form. Once your wording and design details have been confirmed your order is passed to your own personal designer, who will create a PDF proof of your stationery suite for you to review.
Step 4/ Proofing
After confirming your design details and wording your designer will send your initial PDF proof by email within 6 working days. This will show your stationery suite to your own requirements. You can then respond to your designer by email with any changes which may be required to your PDF proof. Changes to your PDF proof are made in 2 working days. Two rounds of proofing are included, additional rounds of proofing are available if required. On average we find couples need 2 weeks for proofing.
Step 5/ Printing
Once you are 100% happy with your stationery suite and have signed off on the design by our approval form, we will require your final payment. Once your approval and payment have been received your stationery will be sent to print. Our standard turnaround time for production is 10-15 working days, depending on the order requirements.
Step 6/ Shipping
Stationery orders are shipping by courier and need to be signed for on delivery. When your order is on the way you will receive your tracking information. Please allow 1-2 working days for courier delivery within Ireland, 2-3 working days for UK and USA.
Bespoke InvitationsWhat to expect?
Step 1/ Consultation & Booking
The first step for our bespoke wedding stationery is to fill out our inquiry form, we want to hear all about your wedding and ideas for your stationery and we have a few basic questions which will help us guide you in the right direction. Consultations can take place via, phone call, email or by appointment in our studio. During your consultation phase, we will gather as much detail about your vision for your wedding stationery as possible! This includes, inspirational images, artwork and design ideas, layout ideas, printing preferences, pieces needed and amounts required. Once we have all of this detail we will send you an estimate based on your requirements. Once you have received the estimate and are happy to place your order we require a 50% non – refundable deposit to secure your spot for bespoke stationery.
Step 2/ Confirming Requirements
Once your deposit has been received, we will confirm all of the artwork and design requirements. An initial PDF proof will be provided to confirm all artwork, colours etc. Once we have confirmed your requirements Ailbhe will start work on your invitation artwork.
Step 3/ Design Proofing
Using the previously agreed inspiration, Ailbhe will create your artwork and design your stationery suite. New artwork takes 3 weeks to complete. Once your artwork has been completed and your wording has been received, your first PDF proof will be sent to you within 5 working days and will show your main invitation and envelope. Once you have reviewed this and given your feedback on the design Ailbhe will create the remaining pieces of your suite to coordinate. 3 rounds of proofing are included for bespoke stationery so your invitation suite can be perfected for print. Changes to your pdf proof are made within 2-5 working days depending on availability. Additional rounds of proofing are available if required. We never send your wedding stationery to print until you are 100% happy with your PDF proof. Once you are happy with your PDF proof we will require your approval by our approval form and your final payment.
Step 4/ Printing & Assembly
Once your final approval and payment have been received your order is sent to print. Printing takes 10-15 working days depending on printing and assembly requirements.
InvestmentHow much does it cost?
For our house venue collection, a cost can be calculated by running through the online order process adding the pieces that you need.
For bespoke projects, due to their unique nature, a custom quote will be prepared for you after completing our questionnaire. We’re happy to work with you and put together a proposal that fits within your budget.
The average Appleberry couple invest between €2500 – €8000 in their complete bespoke stationery, ranging from save-the-date and invitation suites, to on the day stationery and everything inbetween.
