Real Wedding: A Vintage Wedding with a Persian Twist – Dernagh & Alireza

We are just so excited to show this truly unique and spectacular wedding of Dernagh and Alireza. Throughout the wedding the combination of their cultures is flawlessly mixed, with both Persian and Irish traditions being incorporated, creating a truly unique wedding.

Their wedding day was perfectly captured by the very talented Will O’Reilly. Their unique and personal wedding ceremony took place in Esplanade Hotel, they then continued on to Summerhill House for the celebrations, stopping off at the very picturesque Powerscourt Waterfall for some stunning photo’s.

When we first spoke with Dernagh we loved her invitation idea. A vintage map invitation with wording in both English and Farsi, to illustrate their love of travel and both of their cultures. We just couldn’t resist creating a new design for Dernagh and Alireza to use, the beautifully created Vintage Map design.

To complete their ceremony, Dernagh and Alizera created ceremony booklets describing the ceremony in both English and Farsi.

The vintage map theme was carried through effortlessly throughout the layout of the function room in Summerhill House, with a luggage tag table plan, map outline table numbers and vintage map place cards.

We loved working with Dernagh and Alireza on their wedding stationery and we’re delighted to be able to share this beautiful wedding on our blog.
